Mounts on BB80 backbox. · Simplified design fits many basic applications, and can be stocked for retail. · Textured black steel covers. · Two cable slots allow hinged door to be closed while in use. No tangled wires underfoot. · Installs on carpeted or hard surface floors. The MC Series MC40 and MC80 offer all the benefits of a flush mounted floor box where the more advanced and labor saving features of the FMCA Series are not required. Textured black finish is attractive and durable. Simplified design fits many basic applications, making it ideal for a “box sale” or where labor is not included in the installed cost. Accepts connector types compatible with the Switchcraft D*F hole spacing. Mounting hardware is provided, complete with high security cover mounting screws and hex type wrench. Note: The MC Series is not recommended for “specification grade” installations.
